Set the User Group Permissions

Select the permissions that the members of the user group will be assigned.

Access requirements

Users with the following:

  • Profile capabilities: Security (Write, Simple) OR User Group Management (Write, Simple) OR User Management (Write, Simple)

Reach out to your administrator for access.

Overview

You can assign up to 250 permissions per user group in a project. These maximums are the default, however, contact Visier Technical Support to request limit adjustments.

Note: If the More Security Around Data Access Management feature is enabled, you will need access to all data such as the Super Admin permission to perform this task. For more information, see More security around data access management.

To manage your user groups in a project, click Security > User Groups on the navigation bar.

  1. Select a user group in the User Groups list.
  2. Click the Permissions tab.
  3. Assign permissions to the user group by clicking the Access toggle button.
